Kamilla joined the Fulbright Association in April 2013. Before joining the Fulbright Association, Kamilla spent three years living in Paris, where she moved to work as a paralegal in International Arbitration at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle after graduating from Princeton University in 2009. After her two-year stint as a paralegal, Kamilla taught English while completing a Master’s in Comparative Literature at Université Paris 8, with a thesis on the Arabic translation of Madame Bovary.
Kamilla grew up in an international community from an early age, through her father’s Ethiopian community and her French immersion education. In college, she traveled and lived abroad for a summer internship in Budapest, Hungary and a year abroad in Cairo, Egypt. She is fluent in French, competent in Arabic, and working on Spanish.
