The South Florida Chapter of the Fulbright Association covers the southern part of the Sunshine State, from Martin County to the Keys. Our Chapter meets several times during the academic year. We represent the Fulbright Association in our area by sponsoring receptions, tours and symposia. Our featured event, consisting of a cruise along Biscayne Bay, is a favorite for our local and visiting Fulbrighters and their guests as it provides an unique perspective of Miami aboard a sailboat's deck. Our Chapter is hosted by Lynn University.

The Fulbright Association is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and chapters are tax exempt under a group tax exemption ruling. The Association is incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia. Chapters apply for and receive charters, approve Bylaws, and enter into Affiliation Agreements to maintain their affiliation with the national organization and to receive services and benefits from the national office.
