Our vast state of New Mexico has Chapter members stretching nearly 500 miles from Carlsbad in the south to Farmington in the north. Our activities focus on providing hospitality to visiting Fulbrighters, welcoming back New Mexicans returning from their Fulbrights, designing programs which highlight the cultural and scenic offerings of New Mexico, and enjoying the camaraderie provided by our common experiences and interests.
This is a space for your chapter to post its photos, narratives, ideas, opinions, experiences, event follow-up and just about anything else. Please, use this space to its fullest!

The Fulbright Association is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and chapters are tax exempt under a group tax exemption ruling. The Association is incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia. Chapters apply for and receive charters, approve Bylaws, and enter into Affiliation Agreements to maintain their affiliation with the national organization and to receive services and benefits from the national office.
We know that as a volunteer it can be difficult to navigate the paperwork required to maintain your chapter’s affiliation with the Fulbright Association. Please find below all of the necessary forms to be completed at various points through the year.
