The Eastern New York Chapter represents the Hudson-Mohawk/TechValley region of New York State (zipcodes 12000 - 12899). Our geographic area includes the state capitol in Albany and a diverse array of universities, colleges, business, governmental, and non-governmental organizations in Eastern New York. Chapter members represent nearly every academic discipline and have broad international and discipline-specific expertise.

The Fulbright Association is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and chapters are tax exempt under a group tax exemption ruling. The Association is incorporated under the laws of the District of Columbia. Chapters apply for and receive charters, approve Bylaws, and enter into Affiliation Agreements to maintain their affiliation with the national organization and to receive services and benefits from the national office.
We know that as a volunteer it can be difficult to navigate the paperwork required to maintain your chapter’s affiliation with the Fulbright Association. Please find below all of the necessary forms to be completed at various points through the year.
