This toolkit is designed to provide an introduction to the basic advocacy issues facing the Fulbright Program and to offer some ideas of what Fulbright Association chapters and individual members can do to incorporate advocacy into regular activities. Constituent contact with politicians is the most effective means to increase support for a program or cause. Your members of Congress require your support in order to act effectively and make informed decisions.  

Remember: legislators are public servants and they are in government to represent you. Make sure they know what is important to you!
