The Fulbright Association is offering an optional day trip to Oxford on Sunday, October 21, 2012 as part of the 35th Annual Conference. See below for the schedule and details.

Details
Cost: $90 (includes lecture, lunch, visit to Rhodes House,
tea at Pembroke, and bus round trip) Not included: optional food and beverage at the 600 year-old Oxford must visit, the Turf Tavern.
Schedule
8:30 a.m. (approximate) - Leave Pestana Chelsea Bridge
Hotel by bus to Oxford.
11:15 - 11:45 a.m. - Arrive Oxford and join the British Fulbright
Scholar (Alumni) Association for their annual lecture and lunch at Kellogg
College.
Tea/coffee at Lecture venue with our host, Dr. Anna Beer.
11:45 a.m. -12:45 p.m. - BFSA Annual Lecture by Sir John Holmes, Director of the Ditchley
Foundation http://www.ditchley.co.uk/
1:00-2:00 p.m. Three course lunch
with beverage at Kellogg College with British Alumni.
2:00 p.m. - Depart Kellogg for walking
Tour of University Parks.
2:30 p.m. - Arrive Rhodes House.
Host: Don Markwell, Warden of Rhodes House.
3:30 p.m. - Arrive Pembroke College:
Tea and cake in Hall with brief remarks about Fulbright connection by
Andrew Seton, Fellow, Strategic Development Director and tour.
5:00 p.m. - Arrive at Turf Tavern
with its 600-year reputation. Food and drink at individual discretion.
7:00 p.m. - Return by bus to London
and the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel.
